About the Author

Born in Quantico, Virginia, in 1969 to Gary and Cecelia Parker, Jon grew up in Martinsburg, West Virginia, where he graduated from Martinsburg Senior High in 1988. He was married in 1989 and now lives in Saint Thomas, Pennsylvania with his wife, Marni, and three children, Jonathan, Jennifer, and Devon. Jon along with his wife Marni RE the founderS of a paranormal group called E.P.P.S. Eastern Panhandle Paranormal Society and enjoys paranormal investigating, cooking, bowling, golfing, spending time with family, Playing the drums, writing and watching sci-fi movies. Jon is also a member of the board for the Apollo Civic Theatre in Martinsburg, Wv. and does volunteer work for the Haunted Theatre along with his wife and kids at the Apollo Theatre.

I loved this story, it is heart fealt, sad, touching, and happy all at the same time. Kristina is such a strong hearted character, and has had to grow up way to fast. This story shows loyalty and caring to friends, family and animals. All I can say is...WOW!!!! This is a great story, I loved it. It made me cry, laugh, be sad, happy, nervous, and I even felt sorry for Kristina's father. I highly recommend this book to anyone of all ages. It reall has great morals, respect for others. I gave it to my daughter to read, and she loved it aswell. It did lead you to believe that, there may be a sequel. I really hope there is. Kudo's to the author.
