The Gym. How I Beat The Exercise Boredom With Funny Gym Adventures

I am going to be honest with you. I don’t like to exercise.
I didn’t like to do it when I was a kid, I didn’t enjoy it when I was in college, and I continued to ignore it into the later phases of my life.
However, it didn’t matter if I liked it or not, there came a time when I didn’t have a choice anymore. I just had to exercise in order to keep myself healthy.
When the time came, I decided to try jogging.
So, on a beautiful spring morning, I pushed myself from my warm and cozy bed, got dressed, locked the front door and began running down the hill from my house.
Despite all of my trepidations, it was actually not bad. The birds were singing, the morning air was fresh, and the sun was caressing me.
But (and this is a big one!) on my way back, I was moving up the hill slower than a turtle stampeding through peanut butter.
To make a long story short, I realized that jogging just didn’t do it for me.
Perhaps, if my house was located in the middle of a flat field and there were no hills and valleys, I would still be jogging instead of the writing this book.
