Western National Parks Association has been publishing books since 1938. Under our original name, Southwestern Monuments Association, we published The Guide to Southwestern National Monuments on December 15, 1938, which is now available as an e-book for the first time.

The e-book speaks to another era. It includes many monuments that are now affiliated with WNPA, as well as others that are not part of WNPA’s family. Several monument names have changed, and some have become national parks themselves.
