Overview

Grace is a very "Christianese" term that is often misunderstood by both Christians and nonbelievers. When you break it down, it is a simple concept that has daily application in our lives. The definition most often given to grace is: a God-given opportunity to change with His power. That sounds Christianese too, doesn't it? But that really does say it all. Grace is a gift of God, and there's absolutely nothing we can do (or have done) to persuade Him to give it to us — He gives His grace because He chooses to.

Sarah and her husband, Reece, have three children and are Lead Pastors of Encounter Church in Denver, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Missouri.
