Larson acknowledges the insight of Eddy, then provides a history of the Christian Science movement. Christian Science was a new religion at the time that declared that Christianity stood for freedom here and now; that salvation is not only for the future, but also for the present; and that salvation includes salvation from sickness, trouble, adversity, poverty and all the ills of life.
