Overview

Taking Catholicism Out of Christianity

Jesus's message (Love) is quite different from the many messages of Christianity as a religion, but it is not Christianity's fault! This book simply reveals the false, man-made doctrines of Christianity (which originated from the Roman-Catholic church) so the truth of Jesus's message (Love) may be seen!

About the Author

Shay Dawkins was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He holds a degree in finance/economics from the University of Alabama, where he achieved the prestigious feat of holding a place on the Dean's List while owning and operating a successful business, at the age of twenty-two. Shay has brought his signature qualities of dedication, incisive analysis, critical thinking skills, and effective communications to this book. He is currently working on the second book in the Dawkins Truth series.

Shay Dawkins himself would tell you that he is not like most people, and anyone who has met or interacted with him long enough would agree. He can best be described as someone who "thinks the unthinkable and attains the unattainable." His ambition and have always set him apart; it is this rare combination of traits that has enabled him to experience and accomplish more by the age of twenty-three than many will in a lifetime.

Shay's first success came with the business ventures he began in college. Most juniors in college are living the "college life" and only beginning to ponder the idea of what they will do when they graduate. During his junior year, Shay, bored one Saturday afternoon, took a drive around campus. Driving around that afternoon, he noticed a vacant space in a building located right off of campus. Unlike most people who would just keep driving, Shay (already brainstorming on what he could do with the space) stopped to check the space out. The following week, Shay and a close college friend began the process of opening a restaurant. Shay, along with help from friends and family, was able to take this vacant spot and turn it into an operating restaurant in a little over a month's time. Starting your own business is a difficult endeavor and rarely happens that quickly, much less done so by a college junior with no restaurant experience!

After successfully running the business for nine months, Shay felt he could utilize the space for a more profitable venture. Despite being told it would be a difficult task, this goal became a reality less than a month after he had graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in finance. Shay's business success has allowed him the time to finally put in writing what has been on his mind for years. His purpose for writing this book is simply to share what has brought him peace in the hope that it will do the same for others.
