About the Author

Millicent E. Taffe is a singer-songwriter raised in Brixton, South London. She had the opportunity to experience one of the best musical eras in the British capital, as she was really at the right place and time when Lovers Rock was exploding! While she was still in school, Millicent joined a group called Simplicity. They released a few popular songs that still captivate Lovers Rock and reggae fans today!

She is an ex-member of the Flirtations, an American girl group comprised then of Shirley and Ernestine. They did a European tour and released a soul track, "Read All About It." In addition, Millicent’s natural talent for writing poetry means she has a treasure trove of meaningful lyrics that she turns into inspiring storytelling songs. Her passion for writing has now contributed to a few short stories and her soon-to-be-released novel, which will capture the hearts and imagination of those who can appreciate creative masterpieces.
