About the Author

A former soldier, newspaper reporter - bouncer and butcher Neil Humber's life has been varied to say the least.

He lost a promising career in journalism uncovering a major miscarriage of justice. He clashed with his editor over the story and was unceremoniously dismissed later winning an Industrial Tribunal.

The gentleman in question was eventually released from his life sentence in prison after serving 16 years for a crime he did not commit. Much if not all of the evidence used to prove his innocence was uncovered by Mr Humber.

As Neil said at the time:

'He lost 16 years of his life - I lost my career - mine was a small price to pay...'

Neil is now a full time freelance copywriter and runs a number of blogs.

He lives in Warwick England.

A granddad to Oscar and father to Harry - Neil has a number of children's stories and adult novels he's been tinkering with for years that he thinks are now ready to be released - so watch this space!

He's 54 years old and agrees 'the 50's are the youth of old age...'

He's currently working on the book he's had written in his head for the last 20 years.
