Overview

The year is 2050. A young and dynamic investment banker by the name of Miles Fitzroy is enjoying the high life in one of the richest cities of the world: London. He works hard, parties hard and can always be seen casually perusing the newest and flashiest of gadgets. The dream, however, doesn't last for long as a crisis looms on the horizon. Before long, the ambitious engineering graduate - turned - investment banker finds himself unemployed and decides to set-off on a journey around the sprawling metropolis he calls home; a journey that will change his life for ever and shake the very foundations of his hitherto held beliefs. Follow Miles as he visits different areas of London and witnesses how people have coped with the complete retreat of the state in favour of privatisation; glimpse into his thoughts as he does so; watch him build a new understanding of the world and then see where his road takes you: the reader. Even though the route will be the same, your destination will be entirely your own...
