Suffice it to say, I'm old enough to know better than to spend all my days writing fiction and editing the same... but, that is what I do. Amassing an enormous body of work like what I have requires lots of time. It also requires an extremely fertile imagination. Guilty on both parts.
• A younger me was immersed in the study of guitar at, The School of Contemporary Music, Boston, MA.
• I studied Broadcast Communications at San Francisco State University: creative writing and Television Production.
• I'm a graduate of The Hollywood Film Institute at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.
• As an indie producer I've written, and directed for radio, stage, television and the silver screen.
• I am natural born storyteller who has written 16 feature length screenplays, 9 novels and over fifteen short stories,
• The other day I came to the conclusion, I'm still just a pretty good hack. But to get to pretty good 'hack status', I had great teachers, studying with the likes of Professor Richard Walters (UCLA), screenwriter Shane Black: ‘Predator’ and ‘Iron Man Three'. I worked with the executive producers of both ‘Catch Me If You Can’ and ‘I-Robot'.
• In 2019 I became the only author, in the 52-year history of the Houston International Film Festival, to be awarded four coveted REMI Awards in a single awards night.
• My goal over the last 25 years is to learn and polish the craft of writing my tall tales into compelling stories, populated with unique characters and mix the cocktail with a spin on life in the big city of San Francisco.
