About the Author

Judah Hastings is a follower of Jesus, a husband, and father of three adorable girls. He enjoys letting his imagination run wild once an idea hits, often giving life to the silliest of bedtime stories for his oldest daughter or wildly intense dystopian looks into the possible future. He is obsessed with all things Star Wars, Star Trek, and Marvel and regularly tries to insert obscure movie quotes into conversation.

What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

“Judah skillfully captures the grit, danger, suspense, and emotion of war and battle. I enjoyed reading for the action-packed thrills but also for the deep, human connection I was able to make with each character.”

—Jeneisha Anderson, Curriculum Developer and Affiliate Coordinator, Portland Bible College

The Ghosts of Liberty, by Judah Hastings, is a book that checks every box. From beginning to end he effortlessly hooks you and keeps you enthralled with a story of war, courage, and even romance. It is difficult to pull off a book that contains incredible detail while remaining thoroughly enjoyable—yet Hastings does it without a hitch. I would recommend this book to anyone!”

—Jennifer Cox, mother of two, Marysville, Washington

“This was a great read! It was action-packed with very relational characters. I also appreciate how Judah worked in Scripture and faith without it being obvious or overly religious. Definitely a page turner! I look forward to reading more from Judah Hastings in the future!”

—Chelli Shedd, wife, mom, Grammy, and school bus driver

“Fast paced with an air of combat authenticity. Good reminder that the freedoms and liberties we enjoy are often made possible by the sacrifice of others. These sacrifices, whether past, present, or future, should remind us to strive to live our best life now.”

—James Goods, driving instructor, Tacoma, Washington

“This book was a fast-paced read that was over far too soon. . . . For a first time writer, Judah Hastings knocked this one out of the ball park!”

—Sarah Goods, mother and grandmother, Tacoma, Washington
