About the Author

Ana Jorda was born in Francce of French and Spanish parents. Raised in Spain and the U.K. in the 50s, she went on to study Filosofia y Letras at Universdad Complutense of Madrid, and moved to the United States in 1972.
In 1990 Editorial Litoral published a first book of poems in Spanish, 'Zona Desquiciada'. In 1992 Editorial Litoral published 'Antologia de Poesia Norteamericana Contemporanea', a translation of poems from English into Spanish.
In 2014 CreateSpace published a collection of poems in English, Spanish and French, 'Like a Storm of Soft WInd', and in 2018 CreateSpace published a collection of poems in Spanish, 'Lenguaje de un Silencio.'.
Ana Jorda now lives in Littleton, Colorado close to her children and grandchildren.
