About the Author

Blake A. Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about robots conquering the moon and trolls lumbering around the woods behind his parents house. He now lives in Minnesota and enjoys writing about fun things like history, space aliens, and superheroes. Blake has written more than fifty chapter books and dozens of graphic novels for children.

Beth Hughes is an artist who loves animals, nature, and bright colors. She enjoys playing around with colors and shapes and, most of all, telling great stories. She studied at Ringling College of Art and Design and Sheridan College. In the past she has done character design, visual development, and illustration work, and she now works as a freelance illustrator.

Dean Jones is a Grammy award–winning producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer, blueberry picker, and lover of life.
