The Forever Date
Long term relationships and marriages tend to grow stale after time passes. We get complacent and comfortable and we tend to stop pursuing each other. It is not a negative connotation on the relationship, it is just a normal phenomenon. But how do we keep from falling into these ruts?
The Forever Date is the real life example of what my wife and I have done to keep the relationship constantly feeling refreshed. We made the conscious decision, before we got married, that we would forever make time for each other. We would continue to capture the fun and the new and the excitement that comes through that special time in a new relationship, when all you want to do is spend time together and learn everything about each other.
It turns out, the idea has worked wonderfully. We have been dating since 2012, and will continue dating forever.
This book was borne out of the positivity these experiences have brought into our lives together.
