The Flowers That Grew from Me
My book is a collection of unique poems that I felt motivated to put on paper. They are a mixture of bright and dark poems in no specific order. This book is unique because you can see how the words came to me and how I chose my words carefully to put them on paper. On another note, the book is unique because I have decided to write some of them using my native tongue—Cajun French. Everything I’ve written has been rehearsed out loud, so the poems are in my words exactly. One more thing unique about this book is that I do not like using capitalization. So throughout the book, there will be many words that you, the reader, may feel should be capitalized. I am hoping all my readers can learn something from my collection. Whether it be the healing or the hurting part, I want all my readers to know that we all go through hard times and that no one is alone even when they feel they are. Everyone feels things deeply, and everyone has a right to be heard. So keep expressing yourselves. I hope you my readers enjoy it.
