The Flame of Magic
Something is wrong with Magic.

But what is it?

Why do the Goblins hate Magic?

Why have Humans lost their Magic?

In this action filled epic fantasy, the Magicals struggle to survive as the very fabric of their world is being destroyed and the Flame of Magic, which holds their power, is about to go out. Their only hope is Davey Kelly, a physics student who wants nothing to do with anything that is not real. If it can't be measured, it doesn't exist, so Davey believes.

But even he can tell that something is wrong.

Thrust into a life and death struggle against his will, Davey must use his wits and his logic to survive. Teaming up with Leprechauns, Fairies, Dragons and Pirates, Davey battles against an enemy sworn to destroy him. But even if he defeats his enemies, he still may not be able to survive Magic itself.
Only the music he has found in Magicdom has a chance to pull him through. Perhaps he will then be able to understand his destiny.

Suitable for younger readers (twelve and up), The Flame of Magic is a good read for older folks as well.
Includes extensive Appendix with sections for Cast of Characters, List of Species, Maps, and full glossary of terms.

About the Author

Lallah Rowe has been writing and telling stories ever since she was a small child. At the age of 9 she attempted to start a school newspaper, which was thwarted by a teacher who thought that it was too difficult for a nine-year old. But she was not stopped.

Over her career she has written many types of material including short stories, training manuals, poetry and has done ghost writing for corporations, health related blogs and was assistant editor for a small magazine.
But her own love has always been for Fantasy, Science Fiction and telling stories. Wherever she goes, Lallah is often surrounded by children who are anxious to hear the next episode of stories that she makes up on the spot. It is from these impromptu stories that many of the ideas for her current writings have come.

Around the turn of the century Lallah began submitting short stories to The Writers and Illustrators of The Future Contest. She was among the finalists four times and received a certificate of Honorable Mention.

After her retirement, Lallah was unable to "sit around." She began writing down her favorite stories.
"Nothing makes me happier than giving joy and “food for thought” to people around me. That is why I write, and my readers are who I write for."

Lallah is the mother of seven, grandmother of 15 and a great-grandmother of four. (These numbers are subject to change.) She lives in Tujunga, California with her husband Chris and her cat Axcel.
