About the Author

I grew up in Boston where I felt that my high school education was marginal. To overcome the boredom, I was always day dreaming and thinking up stories in my head that I hoped would one day become real novels. I wrote some award winning essays and poetry in school but really didn't think much about it until later in life. After obtaining my degree in Psychology and Social Work, I worked in the field for a short time before putting my careers, both as a counselor and as a writer aside to bring up my family and start a career as an artist. I also kept busy with many other ventures along my journey. But finally, I turned to writing once again.
I have had several essays, some poetry and a short story published in a book by Small Town USA called The Accidental Farmer. I wrote the play for a musical called "Beans 'Bout Boston", music and lyrics by Hi Diggs, which was performed at colleges throughout Massachusetts, such as Simmons, Northeastern and Boston University. This novel is my first. I hope there will be many more.
