A boy called Drake must fulfill his destiny along with his sister, Madison, to save the Realm of Faerie from a former traitorous Dragonkeeper – the evil Hifearnan – who wants nothing less than to rule the whole Realm of Faerie for all time. Drake and Madison, with aid of a grand advisor, will enlist help from others as they go on a quest for the one thing that can help them defeat Hifearnan – the mythical Dragon’s Eye.

I've been writing on and off since I've been in high school, everything from hard sci-fi to medieval fantasy (gosh, the things that I wrote make me just smile today - ahh, to be young again.) Anyway, I digress...

I have published several peer-reviewed scientific papers, a variety of short stories, but "The Final Dragonkeeper: Quest for the Relic" is my first full-length novel. (I'm proud of it like a parent is with their child...)

I was in the mood for a fantasy story when I found this hidden gem of a book. I was not disappointed as I was swept away by the fantastic imagery that this new author provided. I picked up this book because it looked interesting and it was only $1 on my Kindle. This book would be great for school aged children 5th grade and up. But even though I think that it would be good for younger readers - as a mature reader I still enjoyed the novel.
