About the Author

Michael Jacques, born on 24 October 1956. The author of this story has a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, obtained at the University of Westminster in London, England, and a postgraduate certificate in education from the University of Huddersfield. He has an extended knowledge of the local culture of St. Lucia, where he lived until the age of ten, and has since lived in the inner areas of London, where he founded Tai Chi UK, an organisation that provides Tai Chi and Gongfu-Karate classes to children. This short story, including his autobiography, are based on his real-life experiences, aimed to enlighten the reader with knowledge never before shared with the outside world about the hidden secrets of local people and their beliefs and way of life lost in history’s distant past but revived through the creative mind into an epic tale that is satirically funny, sometimes sad, almost crazy historical past, with a tint of fiction that will keep the reader excited until the end This story will challenge the mind-set of everyone that reads it.
