That was one wild ride! When I started reading this I thought it would be like the Daisy Meadows or Secret Kingdom books. But those are so tame compared to the Fairy Squad! My favorite thing was the hashtag subheadings in each chapter - so hilarious! And so appropriate for the tweens who will love this book. I have not rad the first one, but that was not an issue since the backstory was all there. And the exclamations in capital letters - I could just hear the characters in action.

Teenage fairytale

Teenage girls will love this book because it has all the things in it they love. fairies, magic, adventures, and boys. It would make a nice series and they would also love that. It's sometimes difficult to get teenagers interested in reading as they have so many other important things to do. I think this book might just keep their interest long enough to finish. Good job.

Pre-teen enjoyment

This rating is based on my 10 (soon to be 1) year old daughter's review and response when asked about the book. She loved it! She loved the characters, story, and the way it was written definitely resonated with her. She read it in one sitting which was awesome.
