About the Author

Moriah Termunde, now Moriah Watson was born and raised by Rayna and Tedd Termunde, Moriah grew up with her brother Addison in Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She attended The University of Georgia where she received her Bachelors in Landscape Architecture (LA) from the College of Environment + Design. While in school, she accepted an internship at Marmol Radziner, an Architecture Firm based in Santa Monica, CA. She then received a travel scholarship allowing her to travel and study abroad in Cortona, Italy. Here she studied and was part of the LA and Art program for two months. The following summer, she spent three months living and studying in Monteverde, Costa Rica on a LA and Biology study abroad program. Following graduation she relocated to Washington, DC to pursue her career. She made the decision to leave after two years and build herself a more intentional life, a life she chose, a life she dictated and created.

Briefly moving to Dallas, Texas to live with her brother Addison ended up changing her life. She worked at a small cafe wine bar called Astoria. Moriah met her fiancé at this part in her story, and they will be getting married this year, 2023. In August of 2019 she left for the Netherlands to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher certification program at an Ashram in Sinderen. She spent two weeks prior living in Amsterdam and traveling the beauty of Holland. Once returning to the states, she packed her bags with her oldest best friend, their two cats and drove fourteen hours out west to her new home Denver, Colorado.

Moriah and William have since moved back to Texas, where they currently reside with their cat and dog (Hook and Rocky,) Moriah continues to work as a Land Planner / Landscape Architect/Designer after building her own company MET Planning & Designs, LLC.
