Overview

British theologian Gill revises his 1993 The Myth of the Empty Church, which has been out of print for nearly a decade, by incorporating subsequent theoretical and empirical scholarship and revisiting all of his case studies. Pivoting on the image and the reality of empty churches in Britain, he investigates the apparent decline of mainstream Protestant Christianity there.
