Overview

When seventeen-year-old, Aine, first touches the crystal globe of power, she’s excited about the strange and beautiful new world the crystal takes her to. Drayon is a world where horses fly and animals and people communicate telepathically. She encounters a stunning silver pegasite, Zephyr, who she frees from captivity in a mountain-side cave, and they are soon bonded for life. It’s not long before Takkar, the master of the dark art of compulsion, senses that the woman of the ancient prophecy has finally found her way to Drayon. Once he has touched her empathic aura, he is convinced that he must find her and have her as his own – for combined with his own formidable talents, her ability to travel between worlds could make him the absolute ruler of his world and beyond.

While trying to flee Takkar, Aine learns of the School of Empathic Discovery where she meets the handsome trainer, Aiden, who is bonded with the magnificent pegasite stallion, Dark Fire. The young couple falls deeply for each other from the first moment they meet. He, too, believes that Aine is the woman foretold in the prophecy and while his greatest fear is losing Aine to the evil machinations of Takkar, he knows that he must also give her the freedom to choose her destiny.

Meanwhile, Aine struggles with whether she believes the ancient prophecy that proclaims that the world of Drayon will either be saved or doomed by a woman from afar. Should she stay to save Drayon from the evil powers of the malevolent one, or leave her new young love to travel back to the safety of her home and family?
