Overview

A body in Trevino Creek on the golf course, plus a lot of missing money, are the clues and challenges confronting Matt Harper and his ex-partner, Detective Darren Holmes. They have to solve a series of murders and unusual events triggered as a result of The Elm Ridge Scramble, a seemingly harmless golf tournament near Minneapolis. Things get complicated, involving the Italian and Norwegian mafias, actions in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and even an incongruous but dangerous visitor from Bulgaria.
