About the Author

Elda M. Lopez is a published author, speaker, and relationship coach who is passionate about preventing infidelity and strengthening relationships. In her breakout book, The Infidelity Factor: Points to Ponder Before You Cheat, Elda shares her own story as both the betrayed wife and “the other woman.” She understands the emotional stress, pain, anger, and resentment that can stem from such indiscretions as well as the critical familial and financial issues that may arise as a by-product. The trickle-down effects of infidelity also have the potential to bleed into society at large. She reminds us: We are all society at large.

Elda is a native of Southern California. She was born in Glendale, reared in Lincoln Heights until the age of two, and lived in Norwalk during her childhood. She left her family home at seventeen, attended Rio Hondo College, studied at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and graduated with a B. A. in Theatre Arts from Whittier College. Her entertainment career includes film, television, radio, and stage acting. She has also held positions as a dialogue coach, voice-over artist, and casting director. She has taught English in Japan and tutored Language Arts to underserved Southern California communities. Elda currently resides in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. She loves Flamenco, dancing, dark chocolate, and traveling near and far.
