Overview

An attractive English professor finds her 15 year marriage to a homicide cop falling apart. She has lived in the fantasy words of English Literature for as long as she can remember, often picturing herself as Lady Guinevere, queen to King Arthur and living in the mythical kingdom of Camelot. Despite this, she instinctively feels that below the surface lies something so evil that to face it might mean her death; so she remains safe in her world of fantasy. Then one day she is contacted on the internet by a person named Cameo and her life changes forever. She can no longer hide in the fantasy world.

About the Author

In the course of a 35 year career in business, financial executive turned author, John S. Richardson has lived in Chicago, Tampa, San Francisco, Dallas then again in Tampa. In each of these places, he has lived in close proximity to known serial killers without knowing it until after they were caught.

"It occurred to me some time ago, that over the years, I may have inadvertently crossed paths with a number of serial killers while they were still killing people. If this is true, I reasoned, then so had a lot of other people who lived and worked near me. There is nothing unique about me in this regard, but in my research I have found that over the years, serial killers have haunted every major American city at one time or another as well as a number of smaller ones."

The author credits this phenomenon, at least in part, as his inspiration for writing The Eighth Deadly Sin.
