The Easy Moving Guide
Okay, any moving experience is memorable in that you'll never forget it!
I'd say that not too many people equate moving to a "positive" experience.

There are many reasons why people move from one location to another. Leaving home for the first time, accepting a job transfer, getting married or divorced for that matter. The reasons are as varied as the people who perpetuate them.

It's probably a pretty good bet that there are few folks who have positive memories. In fact, many of us equate moving as an unpleasant activity akin to having a tooth pulled!

No matter what the reason, however, there comes a time when most of us have to jump in and see how the water feels. I'm here to tell you that you CAN make your move a pleasant, memorable experience.

Okay, so how do we pull that off?

Well, the answer is so straightforward that we think it is too simplistic. That's because it is! Planning. Let's repeat that. . .planning. I'm reminded of a saying I heard a long time ago. So long that I can't recall the circumstances. But it went something like this:

"Proper planning prevents pitiful poor performance."

Quite the alliteration, isn't it? As trite as it sounds, it couldn't be closer to the truth. Once something gets measured, it gets accomplished. The planning stage begins the minute the idea germinates in our mind.

It doesn't matter if you are a college student moving away from home, a new bride or someone who has accepted new employment in another location. As soon as you are aware of the change in your circumstances, your mind goes to work.

Now, unfortunately, we let the mind run full blown into hurricane mode. This sets the tone for the duration of the move. One of the keys to mastering a positive memorable move is grabbing control of the runaway mind.

You CAN do this

Part of the problem stems from fear. Anything fearful is automatically going to heighten the emotions and create chaos. Our guide, "The Easy Moving Guide" outlines how to overcome those fear-based emotions.

Don't make the same mistake others make. Approach the move with a positive attitude. Don't let fear take over before you can take charge and make the first positive strides toward a favorable outcome.

Start planning as soon as that germination takes place in your head. Find out:
Is there a valid reason for your move.
Should you hire a moving company or do it yourself?
When to get your family on board.
What if you have a home to sell as well as a new one to purchase?
How to reduce the stress.
How to prepare your pets for the move.
These are all real considerations. Just about anyone can prepare for a move. You will have to provide your own excitement. As far as the "how to" knowledge is concerned, we can help you with that.

What if you could . . .
Learn how to prepare your home for sale or rental.
Discover a plan for showing off your property.
Power up your own housing options.
Unearth the secrets to packing and delivery.

All of this is possible. You just need a little "know-how" and we can show you that in our simple presentation, "The Easy Moving Guide."

About the Author

Melanie Barnett says that many people find moving is more stressful than public speaking or even the dentist’s drill.

She said,” Moving is something most people have to do at some time and the experience can cause them to dread ever repeating the experience.”

Melanie has written her book to help reduce the fears and frustration to make moving much easier than you might think possible!

She said,” With business take-overs changes in the economy, people are having to move more often. This book will help you to make the best of whatever situation you are in.”

Melanie has brought together the experience and tips of movers in all age-groups and a wide variety of situations.

Melanie feels that her book will help almost anyone save time, stress and money in their next move and give them confidence to deal with any problems which arise.

“My aim is to make your move a positive experience so that you are ready to make the best of your new location and all its potential.”
