Overview

A smart mouthed, Jack Daniels drinking young man named Careless adopts a big loveable hound dog named Dudley from The SPCA. They go on many fun adventures together and eventually solve a mystery involving the disappearance of a Country Western singer during The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Lively characters of a sharp tongued hottie blonde neighbor, a stammering idiot savant throwback from the 1960's, and a road-raged redneck driving a Cowboy Cadillac bring the story to life. If you love dogs, if you love mysteries, if you love Texas and if you love laughing out loud, you'll love this book. Recommended by 4 out of 5 dogs nationwide.

About the Author

This novel was actually written by Dudley, the hound dog, and typed up by his life partner, Cary Robinson, because frankly, his typing is not very good. Dudley started off with very little in life and after a brief stay in the executive suite at The SPCA, he began writing mystery novels. Dudley is a great example of the classic American Wags To Riches Tail. Dudley goes to work every day and spoons his life partner every night, not that there's anything wrong with that. He is a great Texan.
