Overview

This book is a collection of concepts and explanation's regarding the narcissistic culture that shrouds the violent and abusive individuals. The trauma bonds that entwine an abuser to a victim is often unnoticeable and deceptive. The components that correlate to the experiences of abuse can be understood through the different aspects of this book. Narcissism is pathological and people with this disorder can become predators with the added conditions of Machiavellianism and anti social personality or psychopathy.
Co-dependency is an incorrect diagnosis and a prejudiced outlook towards victims of violent crimes. The book collates facts about the cluster B personality disorder and the growing epidemic of people developing Narcissistic personality disorder, how and why the disorder evolves. The second part of the book explores the condition, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and offers the correct diagnosis and pathology, for victims who have experienced serious crimes.

About the Author

I am a qualified Occupational therapist with a wealth of experience working with mental illness and traumatic brain injury. I work as a case manager and expert witness in my professional time. My passion for writing began as a small child, where I would share my news with family and friends. I love to write stories and share tips and help with different health conditions and disabilities. I use mindfulness and compassion focused therapy in my role, complimenting this with recommendations for alternative healing modalities to empower and increase health and well being. My writing covers many psychological topics, including behavioural challenges and strategies to reduce anxiety and agitation to restore equilibrium. The latest novel I have is called the Dark Knight of the Soul, a story that follows one woman's quest to escape from the clutches of her unstable husband.
