In the 20 book Dr. Thinkenshine Series, judi Love bowman, who has been called the "modern-day Dr. Seuss" presents topics related to character building; safety, self esteem; time management; understanding death and dying; faith; prayer; good and bad touches; forgiveness; goal-setting; hygiene; handling alcohol responsibly; birthday fun; reading; "time out" and jail/prison; Bible facts and trivia; learning to say, "No"; developing a work ethic; stealing; philanthropy/helping the poor; God's unconditional love and salvation. Bowman, a Hampton and Harvard-trained minister, homemaker, social scientist, Harvard mom and author of seven other books is what Roanoke Tribune editor, Claudia Whitworth compares to a "force of nature".
