Interviews

"This book is the kind of resource I wish I had when I felt so scared and alone. Remembering that feeling, I put my heart and soul into it. Every ounce of helpful info that I have learned about vestibular migraine is included as well, along with travel tips, meal plan ideas, and research on migraine supplements. My hope is that it brings a little fun, warmth, and joy into the migraine community. It is a feeling we all need so much.

In 2016, I was diagnosed with Chronic Vestibular Migraine. I learned that some people are prone to getting them, but they can be triggered by many things – stressful events, hormonal changes, a head injury, etc. After a lot of research and trial and error, I started following a diet that strictly avoided migraine triggers of msg, nitrites, histamine, and tyramine and noticed that I could go longer between dizziness episodes. I was so delighted with the results that I began blogging to help others with my condition and this cookbook emerged from that. I hope that my tips, tricks, and recipes can also help you to get to a place where your migraines are being managed successfully.”
