About the Author

Camilli Ivey is a 1st grader in California. She is full of joy and creative talents. While most children her age are into eating vast amounts of sweets and denying the need to get homework done, Camilli doesn't have a sweet tooth and regularly seeks out additional work to do after her homework is completed.

Camilli recently entered the "reader" category and can't get enough to read. Her father has taken her to bookstores routinely throughout the years and he is used to hearing, "Daddy, can I get a book?" Camilli reads to everyone she can. She reads to two year olds whom seem to cling to her loving attitude as well as anyone who will take the time to listen.

A sensitive heart hardly begins to describe the care that this brilliant young lady brings with her everywhere she goes. She illuminates every room that she enters and has an innate guide that seems to propel her into helping people of all ages everywhere she goes.

The editor was careful not to disturb the spirit of the author's work, but only to place the pages and the sentence structure in an easily readable format, as dictated by Camilli.

Camilli Ivey's work is sure to bring the innocent & untainted ideas, from a vibrant 1st grader's perspective, into tangible form that we can all enjoy for years to come.
