Overview

About the Author

Richard L. Sanchez was born in Mexico but came to the U.S. at the age of eight. He worked from a very young age as a migrant worker picking fruit and vegetables with his family before beginning his current career in 1988 and becoming a citizen in 1989. Sanchez wanted to grow up voting Republican and wearing three-piece suits. Not quite fitting in to the culture around him or his family at home left him with a hilariously warped sense of humor and unique perspective on life. Having dabbled in photography, painting and comic book illustration, Sanchez keeps returning to the written word, with three completed novels and countless short stories gathering dust on his shelves. “Conversations” is his first published work.
