About the Author

Keyona Reid is a former early childhood educator, wife and mother to two beautiful boys. She is a Brooklyn native and now a stay at home mom. Growing up Keyona always was conscious of the importance of family and how it can be an essential source of affection and encouragement. This is what inspired Keyona to pursue her dream of creating children’s books that reflects what she believes highly, that family is vital.

Keyona is a proud alumna of Kingsborough Community college where she earned her Associates degree in early childhood education. She's also a proud alumna of Medgar Evers College where she earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Keyona describes herself as "a warm hearted/ hardworking individual." She loves God and her family and is determined to inspire others by living in her purpose.
