“The Day After Death” is a 1904 work by French writer Louis Figuier that explores the subject of death and what happens when we die, with reference to contemporary science and philosophy. Contents include: “What Becomes of the Body, the Soul, and Life, After Death”, “Where does the Superhuman Being Dwell?”, “Do All Men, without Distinction, Pass after Death, into the Condition of the Superhuman Being?”, etc. Louis Figuier (1819–1894) was a French writer and scientist. The nephew of Pierre-Oscar Figuier, he became Professor of chemistry at L'Ecole de pharmacie of Montpellier.
