About the Author

MOTIVATIONAL!... Best describes philanthropist Hagin King's outreach in 2012 as the writer launches her seven-paart "Beginning Writers Series" that includes a 10% allotment of funds for Disadvantaged Youth Poets. After earning her journalism degree from Cal. State University, Sacramento(Actor Tom Hank's alma mater) King wrote and hosted the first of her weekly television news programs centering around Human Rights. Since relocating to Palm Beach, Florida, King has toiled as a news reporter in both broadcast and print journalism and authored eight titles in four genres including two novels: The Brat Pact: Nefarious, 600 pages and The Crowne Affaire, 500 pages. King has also penned five volumes of poetry entitled "The Real Life Poem Series" which includes: The Genesis; The Secret Diary: Lost Poems; Caged-Reality's Poems; Conscience-Conscious-Sociatal and AWAKENING.
