Evergreen Rivers, a local tea-shop owner and Potens (A magic-born person), travels through the wilderness trying to escape a fate she doesn't deserve. She has been sentenced to trial since she was accused of murder, a murder she did not commit. With very little powers and barely any confidence, she cannot defend herself more than a mere human, but with no family left and nowhere to go, she has no choice but to venture off to start over. Her travels force her to encounter a powerful truth about her family which changes her course as she knows it.
