About the Author

My name's John Aubrey Anderson. I write Christian fiction… or, better said, TRUTH IN FICTION… more specifically, suspense novels written to entertain and enthrall while sinking the talons of eternal truth into the hearts of any who draw near.
I was born and raised in the Mississippi cotton country… five miles north of the setting I chose for my first novel. The old hometown is within a rifle shot of two rivers, a bayou, a double handful of lakes, and endless acres of woods. Add that backdrop to a culture that offered an umbrella of protection for children while allowing pre-teen boys to roam the countryside with firearms and fishing poles, and you come up with an environment that would provoke the envy of Tom Sawyer. In those surroundings, millions of day-by-day adventures linked themselves to become my boyhood.
My wife and I met in Mrs. Smith's Kindergarten – now, with college, a flying career, and fifty-some-odd years of marriage behind us, we find ourselves in Texas – a short ride south of the Red River. The short version… she's immersed in leading several women's Bible studies; I write novels about warfare – spiritual and physical – with a blending of romance.
