Ekaterina Popova is an artist, writer, coach and the founder of Create! Magazine. Her mission is to empower artists and give them the tools to take responsibility for their own career and find validation and success from within.
In addition to her art practice, Ekaterina was also inspired to create opportunities for emerging artists and founded her first publication in 2013. Since then, the magazine has partnered with leading curators, galleries, and art fairs and has been enjoyed all over the world. The platform grew from a humble indie zine to an online community that celebrates emerging artists. The magazine also now partners with PxP Contemporary (directed by Alicia Puig) to provide even more visibility and opportunities to artists.
Alicia Puig is the CEO and co-founder of PxP Contemporary, Director of Business Operations for Create! Magazine, an arts writer, and an author. She has worked in the arts industry for over ten years both in the US and abroad. Her writing has been featured in publications and on blogs including Create! Magazine, Pikchur Magazine, Art She Says, Empty Easel, Printeresting.org, and Motivos Magazine, among others. Additionally, she has curated and co-curated exhibitions at Kutztown University, Hastings College, and the Tyler School of Art at Temple University. She specializes in content creation, online sales, and digital marketing for the arts and enjoys connecting with artists to learn about their work and help them find opportunities to advance their careers.
