About the Author

Chay Alexander Wright is a professional musician, recording engineer and producer residing in Los Angeles, California. An alum of the Berklee College of Music, Chay has spent the last 15 years as a touring musician and record producer developing artists and projects between New York and Los Angeles, in all styles of Popular music. One of his specialties as an artist developer is discovering artists' creative edges by combining their unique artistic qualities with the sensibilities necessary to make them commercially viable. In the "Complete Artist Development Series," Chay finally shares with a wide range of readers, a great deal of the advice many of his peers seek from him, regarding their own production situations: from fees and contractual relationships to artistic approaches and mixing.
