The Clumsy Clam
Daniel took the bucket of clams and tried to dump them in the sink. They all fell in except for one lazy clam. Daniel stuck his hand in the bucket and felt around inside it. The clam was all wet and slippery and it slipped out of his hands and onto the counter. He tried to catch it, but it rolled to the edge and fell on the tiled floor.
“Yikes!” said the Clumsy Clam. “What is happening to little ole me?” He limped along on his one leg, trying to get away from the grasp of the boy. “I think they are trying to kill me!”
