About the Author

Carol Fullerton-Samsel is a nearly-native Floridian and Renaissance woman. She lives in Northeast Florida with her husband of 25 years and three rescue animals. She is a writer, English tutor, and day-hiker, but she has also taught in the classroom, prepared grants and manuscripts for university researchers, and worked as a zookeeper. She has a Fine Arts degree, and her paintings and intaglio prints were exhibited in regional, national, and international exhibitions. She designs her own book covers, using licensed photos and paintings.
Her novel, The Clones of Langston, was a Reader’s Favorite medalist and a New Century Writer Awards finalist. It tells the story of cloned workers who are abandoned to form their own society. As the facility housing them erodes, they discover a challenging new world—our own.
