About the Author

Leah Borland is a United States Air Force disabled veteran, with almost 6 years of service. She was medically retired from Active duty in 2020, when she went to nursing school. She has since graduated with honors, started a family as a single mother, and is continuing her education in the medical field. She decided in 2024 to become the Children's Author she has always wanted to be. Since Childhood, Leah has participated in and won many Young Author's awards, for the funny and whimsical children's book genre. She hopes her book can help not only her son learn and grow, and develop a love for reading, but other children as well.
