About the Author

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Amber Reneé Hughes has always yearned to be a writer showing interest for it as she excelled in all English classes from grade school, all the way to college, Amber has always had a knack for writing stories. Even entertaining her friends in her youth with the tales she wrote.
Unfortunately, Amber was diagnosed with the debilitating mental illness of schizophrenia in 2007 and is currently using her novels as her own type of therapy, as Amber incorporates her damning and horrific audible and visual hallucinations uniquely into her novels. She also suffers from OCD, severe anxiety issues, clinical depression, and PTSD.
In 2010, Amber met her current partner and caretaker, T Great Razooly, on an online dating site and they live happily in the rural forested mountains of northern California where Amber taps away at her keyboard on either her laptop, endearingly nicknamed Sensei, which is Japanese for ‘teacher’, or her netbook that she has dubbed, Imoto, which is Japanese for ‘little sister’.
With the beauty of her home, the companionship from her numerous outdoor cats and the constant love and support from her partner, Amber has all the literary inspiration she needs.
Amber publishes on both Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble’s Nook.
