Overview

When Philip Jackson's wife, Caroline disappears in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, his world is shattered. Arrested and vilified by the French police from the outset, he feels like a condemned prisoner on death row. He then finds himself irresistibly drawn to the charms of a beautiful Moroccan girl who has been appointed as his interpreter. She tries to gain his confidence, which only deepens his suspicion of the Police and her role in the investigation.

It is the chance discovery that Caroline was harbouring a dark secret which drives Philip into the shadows of despair. As an upright, retired army officer he has an innate sense of honour, values and duty.

This is a reflective, psychological drama full of intrigue, passion and pathos.
