About the Author

In the 60's, as a very young sprout, I flew on B-52's. After leaving the USAF I went to work for the Federal Aviation Agency. I worked for 27 years' as a systems analyst and a software specialist at the Seattle Air Route Traffic Control Center. I have two grown children, five grand children and my wife of 47 years. We left cold, rainy, dreary Seattle for sunny warm Phoenix. It was a GOOD MOVE! I still write software, primarily celestial navigation, and test it with an aircraft sextant from my back yard, when I'm not out riding dirt motorcycles in the desert.
