About the Author

Charlie Hill was born and still lives on the edge of the Black Country in England, with his wife and greyhound.
From a very early age, Charlie has written stories, much to the frustration of his English teachers. He has always had a fascination for British and Norse folktales and myths, which is where much of his inspiration is drawn from.
The Burning Sword, part one in The Orcadian series, is his first published novel and he is currently working on the second part of the series.

This is not only for kids and young people. Adults young in their heart will love it, too. The story is absolutely thrilling, full of adventure, unexpected twists and well written. I hope the second volume appears soon.
