About the Author

Barbara Yates Rothwell has been writing professionally for over four decades. While her six children were small she wrote and sold many short stories, and eventually was invited to become Woman’s Page Editor for a large group of south of England newspapers. In 1974 she, her husband and two youngest daughters moved to Australia, where her other children also finally settled. A trained musician, she became a music reviewer for The West Australian newspaper in the 1980s, and soon after decided it was time to write a novel. Since then she has published seven. There may be more to come.
