About the Author

Joe Sackey has been a Ferrari and Lamborghini owner and enthusiast for over 20 years. His previous work includes The Lamborghini Miura Bible and he writes regularly at club and magazine levels. Joe operates as an international Ferrari Supercar Specialist, and has owned many classic cars including Lamborghini Miuras, Countach variants, Ferrari F40s and 288 GT's, giving him a wealth of knowledge and experience. He organised the first-ever Miura Reunion in Monterey, California in 2000, and also facilitated the sale of the first million dollar Lamborghini, the Miura Roadster, in 2006. He organised and sponsored the 25th Anniversary Reunion of the Ferrari 288 GTO, held during the famed Monterey Week in 2009. As an archivist and historian, he has become closely involved with the International Lamborghini Registry, and often lends his considerable experience to others looking to locate and restore that special car. Joe lives in Laguna Niguel, California with his wife Margaret, their three children, and a few old classics.
