Overview

This little book is one of those few listed as a "Rare Book" by the U. S. Library of Congress, which means that finding an original printed copy would be very difficult and equally expensive. Nonetheless, Elisabeth F. Bonsall produced beautiful illustrations of cats in all kinds of poses, from resting to playing to screeching on the back fence at night. The short stories and verses that accompany the illustrations by Mabel Humphreys are charming, intended to hold a child's interest. It is a wonderful bedtime book.

This edition of the book contains all 14 original, high-definition illustrations, rejuvenated.
